WHYJOEWHY is a 16.1hh, 2010 Indiana-bred Gelding war horse with 80-starts. He last raced 12/28/19, and was given to a kind-hearted person who didn’t know how to care for him. He would up in poor condition, and was brought to CTA farm on May 29, 2019. He was significantly underweight, his body and feet were in poor condition, and he was covered in ticks. He is putting that behind him as he’s regaining weight, and we’re working to improve the condition of his hooves and coat. He was shown himself to be a true “diamond in the rough” and has blosoomed in only 2+ months we’ve had him. He is lightly restarted under saddle, and what a beautiful W-T-C he has! Due to racing wear and tear, he’ll be limited to flat riding and non- to lower-level athletic job. We think he’d make a lovely pleasure mount or even low-level dressage horse. He has nice ground manners, and no vices. We’ll share more about him as we learn more about him. You can also contact us via our website or facebook to inquire about him. We will be doing bloodwork on him to see if he’ll be cleared to return to U.S. mainland. If not, we’ll be looking for a great home in Puerto Rico for this lovely boy!
